Facebook Page

In one lineThe identity your ads speak from.

Your Facebook Page is the public identity your ads speak from, the name and picture people see as the sender when your ad shows up in their feed.

Nearly every ad you run on Meta goes out in the name of a Page, and usually an Instagram account sitting next to it, so you cannot really advertise without one. When someone stops on your ad, the first thing they read is that Page name and see that little round photo, and that is who they think is talking to them. Tap the name and they land on the Page itself, where they can message you, scroll your other posts, and decide whether you look like a real business or a stranger who showed up in their feed an hour ago.

This matters because the Page is your face in the feed, and people do check it before they hand over money. A Page that looks alive, with a clear photo, real posts, and replies to the odd question, earns more trust than an empty shell with one gray placeholder image, and that trust is the difference between a click that turns into a sale and a scroll that keeps moving.

Keep the Page inside your own Business Portfolio, not on a personal profile and not parked in an agency's portfolio, for the same ownership reason that follows you everywhere in Meta. And understand that the Page carries its own standing with Meta the way an account does: repeated negative feedback, people hiding your ads or reporting them, can quietly drag down how your ads get treated across the board, so the Page is not decoration you set up once and forget.

Treat the Page as the storefront your ads knock on, because that is exactly how the buyer treats it.
