Pre-roll Views

In one lineThe Amplify pre-roll view objective.

The pre-roll views objective runs your video ad in front of publisher video content and charges you when someone views it.

You pick content categories, X matches your video to clips from its brand-safe publishers, and your ad plays before that content. You pay per view under cost per view pricing, impressions that never become a view are free, and viewers can skip after six seconds.

You upload a 20-second brand video and set standard view billing, which counts a view at 50 percent on screen for two seconds or on an expand or unmute. Over the flight you get 400,000 views and pay only for those, not for every impression served. Open Ads Manager and read your cost per view against the views delivered.

A standard view is a low bar. Two seconds at half visibility is counted and billed as a view, which is not the same as someone watching your message, so front-load the point into the first two seconds. If you need real attention, switch to the six-second view setting and pay for it.

You are buying position on premium content, not completed watches.
