TikTok Events API

The TikTok Events API is TikTok's server-side channel for sending conversion events from your server directly to TikTok, working next to the TikTok Pixel.

It is TikTok's version of the same idea Meta and Google use. The Pixel in the browser reports what it can, and the Events API reports from your server, catching the sales and sign-ups that browser blocking would otherwise lose. TikTok uses both streams to learn which ads actually drove results.

As with the others, you dedupe so one action is not counted twice, and you send customer data to help the match. Imagine a shopper who buys after seeing a TikTok ad, then leaves. The Pixel might miss the purchase on a locked-down phone, but your server posts it through the Events API, so TikTok can optimize toward more buyers like that one.

The tool is free; the setup and upkeep are not. You need a server feed, correct event mapping, and matched customer data, and if any of those drift the reporting quietly degrades. It is a channel to maintain, not a switch to flip.

Same playbook as the big two, just wearing a different logo.
