Snap Pixel

In one lineWebsite tag tracking conversions.
Snap Pixel illustration

A tag on your website that reports visitor actions back to Snapchat so it can track conversions and build audiences.

You place the Snap Pixel across your site and it fires events, page views, add-to-carts, purchases, when users take those actions after seeing or swiping your ads. That data lets you measure conversions, build custom audiences and lookalikes from site behavior, and give Snap's optimization the signal it needs to find buyers. Nearly everything downstream, from Dynamic Ads to goal-based bidding, leans on the pixel.

A user swipes your ad, browses two products, and buys. The pixel reports the purchase and its value back to Snapchat, so you can see the sale in reporting, exclude that buyer from prospecting, and feed the purchase event into a lookalike seed.

Browser-based pixels miss more every year. Ad blockers, cookie restrictions, and iOS privacy changes quietly drop events, so the pixel alone undercounts conversions and starves optimization. This is exactly why the pixel is meant to run alongside the Conversions API, not by itself. Pixel only is a data gap you are choosing to keep.

The pixel is the floor of your measurement, not the whole of it.
