A Free-form ad is a single Reddit ad that mixes text, images, video, and GIFs in one scrollable post.

You build it in the ad composer like a rich post rather than one asset with a caption. You can stack a headline, a paragraph, an image, a second block of copy, and a video, in the order you want. It gives you room to explain something a single image cannot, and it still renders natively in the feed with the usual voting and comments.

You sell a running shoe. Instead of one photo, the Free-form ad opens with a line about the problem, shows a photo of the outsole, adds two sentences on the foam, then drops a ten-second clip of the flex test. Someone deciding between two shoes gets the full case in one ad instead of clicking out to find it.

More blocks is not more persuasion. Free-form tempts you to dump everything you have, and a wall of stacked media reads like a brochure nobody asked for. Lead with the one thing that matters and cut the rest, or the scroll wins before you get to block three.

Space to say more is not a reason to.
