Frequency Cap

In one lineLimiting how often a member sees your ads.
Frequency Cap illustration

A delivery control that limits how many times a member sees your campaign within a set window.

On brand awareness campaigns you either let LinkedIn manage the cap or set your own, from 3 to 30 impressions per 7-day period. Changes take effect within about a day, and you can adjust the setting while the campaign runs.

You cap a brand awareness campaign at 8 impressions per 7 days so a small target account list is not shown the same ad a dozen times in a week.

It is not universal and not a lead lever. The control lives on brand awareness objectives with Classic formats. On other objectives you manage frequency through audience size and budget, not a setting.

Cap the repetition where you can; everywhere else, size the audience.
