Sponsored Display

In one lineRetargeting on and off Amazon.

Sponsored Display is a self-serve format that retargets shoppers and reaches audiences both on Amazon and across third-party sites and apps.

You target by audience, meaning shoppers who viewed your product or similar ones, or by product, meaning specific listings and categories, and Amazon serves display creatives built automatically from your listing. It reaches people off Amazon without the DSP minimum.

A shopper views your blender, leaves without buying, and later sees an ad for that same blender on a news site and again on Amazon product pages, pulling them back to the listing.

Sponsored Display is not the DSP. People conflate the two because both do off-Amazon retargeting. Display is self-serve, listing-based, and limited in control; the DSP is programmatic with full audience building. Do not expect DSP-grade targeting from a Sponsored Display campaign.

The cheapest way to chase the shoppers who already looked.
